Soares, Maria E. (Anacleto), of Cambridge, passed away on June 21, 2024, surrounded by her loving family at the age of 88.
Wife of the late Januario Soares.
Loving mother of Teresa Reis and her husband Manuel Reis, Nelia Jennings and her husband John J. Jennings III.
Cherished grandmother of Lauren Yamasaki and her husband Joel Yamasaki, Sarah Reis, and John J. Jennings IV.
Maria is survived by her sisters, Eduarda Barbosa and Margarida Anacleto, her brother Antonio Anacleto, many nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.
A memorial mass will be held at St. Francis Church, 325 Cambridge Street in Cambridge on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at 11:00 am.
Maria was a former member of C.O.P.A. as well as a participant of the Senior Center and Bingo at Millers River Apartments on Lambert Street.

Parking arrangements have been made with the City of Cambridge on both sides of Cambridge Street between Third Street and Sciarappa Street from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm. It is not necessary to put money in the parking meters in this area during this time.
You may also park in the parking lot of the funeral home just across the street.
