He was born September 6, 1965, in Cambridge, MA, where he grew up. He is the son of the late Rebecca Griffith of Pinewood, SC and is survived by his father, Austin Price, Sr. of Barbados. As a proud Mason & Shriner, he was dedicated to serving with Prince Hall Grand Lodge #459 & fulfilled his wish of reaching Illustrious Potentate status with the Syria Temple #31. He was a talented dresser who loved to showcase his dapper style even if it came across as flashy, he was always willing to accessorize. Malcolm was a graduate of Cambridge Rindge and Latin High School (Cambridge, MA). He was an outstanding baseball player in his younger years and proved to be a "fun" competitor.
Known to family & friends as Mal and DJ Malibu, he enjoyed golfing, grilling, DJ'ing, and cooking for family. His favorite type of day was being in his backyard barbequing up some ribs & at one point owned his own food truck "Mal's Grill". Many remember his famous mac'n'cheese for it's full-belly nourishment & love. He cherished quiet time at home & taking walks with his "boyz" Romeo & Rufus, his two dogs. He served on the school & budget committees in the town of Hudson, where he was a long-time resident. For the past 9 years, Malcolm was employed at Cloutier Insurance Agency in Dracut, MA, where he was a commercial sales representative. Previously, he had worked as the Sales Manager of Commonwealth Motors in Lawrence, MA for 17 years.
