Lourenco Medeiros of Somerville passed away on October 14, 2026, surrounded by his loving family at the age of 100.
Devoted husband of the late Rosa L. Medeiros (Faria).
Loving father of Maria L. Duarte and her husband Helder, Maria F. Alexandre and her husband Victor, Lawrence Medeiros and his wife Mary.
Cherished grandfather of Helia Kinney and her husband Marc, Elizabeth Rainville and her husband Greg, and Suzanne Medeiros.
Adored great grand father of Adrianna Kinney and Brendan Kinney.
Also survived by nieces, nephews, and many other loving relatives and friends.
There will be a visitation at the Rogers Funeral Home, 380 Cambridge Street in Cambridge on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, from 9:30 to 10:30 am, followed by a prayer service in the funeral home.
Internment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.
