Born in Sao Miguel, Azores on October 10, 1952, the daughter of the late Deolinda (Alves) and Miguel Almeida Jesus.
Devoted wife of the late John Da Silva Raposo for over 45 years.
Loving mother of John Raposo and his wife Jenny.
Adored grandmother of John Raposo and Julie Raposo.
Cherished sister of Lourdes Tavares and her husband John, Liberal Almeida and his wife Connie, and Zulmira Almeida.
Beloved sister-in-law of Manuel Raposo and his wife Patricia, Michael Raposa and his wife Nancy, Maria Raposo, and the late Maria Barbosa and her late husband Gilberto, Jose raposo and his late wife Patricia.
Lucia was a dear aunt, cousin and a friend to many.
She adored her family and always put them before herself, especially her grandchildren. She knew the most valuable thing in life was family and treasured every moment with them. She will be missed dearly.
Visting hours at the Rogers Funeral Home, 380 Cambridge Street in Cambridge, on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, from 9:00 to 10:30 am.
A funeral mass to follow St. Anthony’s Church, 400 Cardinal Medeiros Avenue in Cambridge at 11:00 am.
Interment will be at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.
