Emanuel “Manny” B. Aguiar
1973 - 2026
Emanuel “Manny” B. Aguiar, of Billerica, passed away on October 13, 2026, at the age
of 53, surrounded by his loving family.
Manny was the devoted husband of Viviane F. Aguiar (Pinto) and a loving father to
Laura Aguilar, Karina Aguiar, and Vander Santos. He was a cherished grandfather to
Anthony Oliveira and Abraao Santos, who brought him great joy and pride.
He was the beloved son of Antonio Aguiar and the late Maria Margarida (Batista)
Aguiar. He was also a dear brother to Victor Aguiar and his wife, Debora; Anabela
Aleman; Maria Isaltina Pereira and her husband, Joao; Luis Aguiar and his wife, Gladys;
and Maria dos Anjos Resendes and her husband, Manuel. He also leaves behind many
nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever hold him
in their hearts.
Manny lived a full life and dedicated many years of service to Harvard University, where
he formed meaningful friendships and lasting bonds. The relationships he built
throughout his years there became something far greater than workplace connections.
He gained brothers and sisters who became family, a testament to his character, the
love he shared, and the lasting impact he had on those around him. His family extended
far beyond blood relatives, encompassing the many people whose lives he touched
along the way.
Manny will be remembered for the love he had for his family, the connections he made
throughout his life, and the special place he held in the hearts of so many. Though he
will be deeply missed, his memory will live on through the family, friends, and loved
ones who were fortunate enough to share in his life.
Visiting Hours
Visiting hours will be held at Rogers Funeral Home, 380 Cambridge Street, Cambridge,
on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Funeral Mass and Celebration of Life
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. at
Memorial Church, located at One Harvard Yard Cambridge, MA 02138. Parking will be
available at Broadway Garage 7 Felton Street Cambridge, MA 02138.

Immediately following the Mass, family and friends are invited to gather for a celebration
of Manny’s life outside Memorial Church in Harvard Yard, where those who knew and
loved him can come together to honor his memory and celebrate the life he lived.
