Antonio Da Ponte Furtado Cardoso, of Lowell, passed away suddenly on the 27th of October, 2015, at the young age of 56, with his loving family by his side. Antonio was an amazing and passionate chef, who could cook up any meal. He always put others before himself, and would go to any length to lend a helping hand. You always found him telling jokes and making others laugh. He is dearly missed by his loved ones, who celebrate his life. Antonio was blessed with a large and loving family. He was a son to late Maria Santo Cristo and Manuel Cardoso. And was a loving brother to sister Benvinda Raia, and his brothers Edmund, Joao, Fernando, Osvaldo, Oscar and late Francisco Cardoso. He left behind his loving partner and devoted fiancé Maria De Jesus Goncalves. Antonio will be remembered by his children Elizabeth Marie and William Joseph Cardoso, and Jennie Marie Goncalves, and was dearly loved by his grandchildren, Alanna Ann Shebak and Savanna Ward, and numerous other relatives and close family. Funeral from the Rogers Funeral Home, 380 Cambridge Street, Cambridge on Saturday, October 31st, 2015 at 8:00 am. Funeral Mass at St. Anthony’s Church in Cambridge at 9:00 am. Wake will be open to the public on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
