Mrs. Gertrude Ruth Duncan

Gertrude Ruth Duncan (Lopez) of Belmont passed away of Tuesday, March 10th, 2015 at age 86.  Born in Cambridge to Agnes (Cadose) and Manuel Lopez, Gertrude is the wife of the late William Francis Duncan.  She is the loving mother of Yvonne Muller and her husband Frederick, Edward Duncan and his wife June, William Duncan and his wife Nancy.  She is the beloved sister of Lucille Dupont and the late Agnes Marie Reid and Edward J. Lopes.  She leaves behind 8 cherished grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.  She will be greatly be missed by her nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.  A funeral mass will be held at the Sacred Heart Church, 49  Sixth Street, Cambridge, MA 02141 on Friday, March13th, 2015 at 9:00 am. Visiting hours will be on Thursday March 12th, 2015 from 4 to 8 pm at the Rogers Funeral Home, 380 Cambridge Street, Cambridge, MA 02141.  Interment will be at the VA National Cemetery in Bourne, MA on Friday, March 13th, 2015 at 2:15 pm.
