Adelaide “Ida” Barbosa (Varges) of Belmont passed away on October 5, 2026, at the age of 105 ¾.
Devoted wife of the late Domingos D. Barbosa.
Loving mother of Richard Barbosa and his wife Joan.
Cherished grandmother of Brian Barbosa and his wife Rebecca, Michael Barbosa and his wife Alison.
Adored great-grandmother of Penelope, Connor, August and Hannah Barbosa.
Beloved siter of Antonio, and the late Maria, Amelia, Joseph, Manuel, Emilio, Alberto and Antonio.
Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.
Visiting hours at the Rogers Funeral Home, 380 Cambridge Street in Cambridge on Monday, October 12, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
Funeral mass at St. Anthony’s Church, 400 Cardinal Mederios Avenue in Cambridge on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 10:00 am.
Interment will follow at the Mount Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge.
Those wishing to travel in procession to the church and cemetery are asked to meet at the funeral home in Cambridge on Tuesday morning at 9:00 am.
Ida worked for over 20 years as a Clerk at the Middlesex Probate Court.
