Sophia Milonopoulos of Somerville passed away on September 22, 2026, at the age of 81.
Sophia was the cherished daughter of the late Georgia (Copanas) and Nicholas Milonopoulos.
Beloved sister of Anthony and of the late Michael, James, Leo, Charlie and George Milonopoulos.
She is also survived by many dear nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, as well as other loving friends.
Sophia was a foster grandparent with the Somerville School system, and a teacher’s aide at St. Catherine’s School in Somerville.
She retired from the Reserve Bank of Boston and was a former employee of the Transportation Federal Credit Union in Cambridge.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at the Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 14 Magazine Street, in Cambridge from 10:00 to 11:00 am.
Her funeral service will follow in the church at 11:00 am.
Internment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.
