da Silva, Jose Faustino of Medford, February 27^th, 2015. Devoted husband of Maria Luisa (Simas) da Silva. Loving father of Fernando da Silva and his wife Joan, Jose “Zeca” da Silva and his wife Luisa. Cherished grandfather of Sarah da Silva and Robert P. Teixeira. Beloved brother of Jorge Silva, Joaquim Silva, Maria Julia Terra, Maria de Fatima da Rosa and Luis Teresa de Freitas. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends. Funeral from the Rogers Funeral Home, 380 Cambridge St., Cambridge, Tuesday at 10:00 am. Funeral Mass at St. Anthony’s Church in Cambridge at 11:00 am. Visiting hours Monday 4 to 8 pm. Jose was the past President of the Aungustias Atletico Clube in Horta, Faial, and a Founding Member and Past President of the Faialense Club of Cambridge and the Fundacao Faialense, P.O. Box 14291, East Providence, RI 02914 where in lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made. Jose was an employee of Hewlett-Packard in Andover, MA for over 25 years.
