Mr. Joao M. Fontes

Fontes, Joao M., of Cambridge, September 28, 2014.  Devoted husband of Maria Rosa Cabral.  Loving father of  Conceicao Figueiredo and her husband Jose, Jose Fontes and his wife Adia, Steve Fontes and his wife Trindade, Antonio Fontes and his wife Alda, Joao Fontes and his wife Nelia, Irene Carroll and her husband Sean, Dinis Fontes, Olga Rocha and her husband Mario, Duarte Fontes and his wife Kilma. Beloved brother of Maria, Ines, Conceicao and the late Antonio, Jose, Manuel, Filomena and Helena.  Also survived by 16 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, many other loving relatives and friends.  Funeral from the Rogers Funeral Home, 380 Cambridge St., Cambridge, Wednesday at 8 am.  Funeral Mass at St. Anthony’s Church in Cambridge at 9 am.  Visiting hours Tuesday 5 to 8 pm.  Interment at Cambridge Cemetery.
