Simoes, Matthew F., of Somerville, September 8^th. Loving father of Ava Grace Simoes. Cherished fiancée of Bianca Sabatino. Devoted  son of Maria (Ferreira) and Nuno Simoes. Beloved brother of Samantha Simoes and her fiancé Nando Cicerone. Adored grandson of Bernadette Simoes and the late Joaquim Simoes, Jose and Helena Ferreira. Nephew of Maria and Leo Oliveira. God son of Carlos and Lucy Simoes. Cousin of Michael and Patrick Oliveira. Also survived by many cousins, other loving relatives and friends. Funeral from the Rogers Funeral Home, 380 Cambridge St., Cambridge, Friday at 8 am. Funeral Mass at St. Anthony’s Church in Cambridge at 9 am. Visiting hours Thursday 4 to 8 pm.  Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
