Mr. Delmiro A. Correia Sr.

Correia, Delmiro A. Sr., of Somerville, April 6th.  Devoted husband of  53 years to Maria (Gallego) Correia. Loving father of Delmiro Correia Jr., MaryLou Carey-Sturniolo and her husband Jim Sturniolo, John Correia and his wife Cynthia and Dan Correia. Cherished grandfather of Delmiro Correia III, Justin Carey, Daniel Correia Jr., Nick, Chris and Matt Sturniolo, Hannah and Jacob Correia, Laura Davis, Amanda, Jenny and Nicole Spencer. Also survived by his sister Esmeria Moniz, many nieces, nephews, other loving relatives & friends. Funeral from the Rogers Funeral Home, 380 Cambridge St., Cambridge Wednesday at 8 am. Funeral Mass at St. Anthony’s Church in Cambridge at 9 am.  Visiting hours Tuesday from 4 to 8 pm.  Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett. Delmiro was a former employee of MIT and American Cleaning Company, and has been a Dunkin Donut Franchisee owner for 30 years. He is a member of St. Anthony’s Parish and the Faialense Sports Club in Cambridge, and is a proud supporter of PAPA (Portuguese American Police Association) Mass lodge #2, New Bedford, MA.
