Vargas, Alberto F., of Somerville, January 26^th. Devoted husband of Maria E. (Xavier) Vargas. Father of Nelson A. Vargas and his wife Julie. Grandfather of Alexandra and Frankie Vargas. Brother of Maria Madalena Medeiros. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends. Funeral from the Rogers Funeral Home, 380 Cambridge St., Cambridge, Tuesday at 8 am. Funeral Mass at St. Anthony’s Church in Cambridge at 9 am. Visiting hours Monday 4 to 8 pm. Alberto was a custodian at Boston University for over 27 years.
