Resendes, Jose H., of Somerville, July 31^st.  Devoted husband of Marta A. (Medeiros) Resendes.  Loving father of Jesse Resendes.  Brother of Maria E. Amaral, Maria A. Couto, Maria C. Costa, Vicencia Amaral, Maria R. Cabral, Dionisio Resendes, David Resendes and the late Lucia Arruda and Otilia Silva.  Also survived by many nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.  Funeral from the Rogers Funeral Home, 380 Cambridge St., Cambridge, Wednesday at 8 am.  Funeral Mass at St. Anthony’s Church in Cambridge at 9 am.  Visiting Hours Tuesday 4 to 8 pm.  Employee of G.C.A. at Holy Oak Center, Cambridge.  Veteran of the Portuguese  Army.
