Reginald W. Babin Sr., age 81, passed away too soon on February 15, 2026.
He is survived by his wife Sandra Babin, daughters Cyndi Gwin and Kimberly Harmon, son Reginald W. Babin Jr., as well as his grandchildren Samantha, Zackary, and Joshua.
He is also survived by his siblings, Ronald, Donald (Ducky), Anne Marie, Daniel, John, and Michael. Preceded in death by his mother Dorothy Traynor.
Reginald worked for the Cambridge Housing Authority for 30+ years and was known as “Rockin Reggie” for his many years dedicated to being an oldies but goodies DJ.
He loved his family and friends dearly and would do anything to help anyone in need. If you needed something, he had it or found a way to get it for you. He was a man of few words, but his heart told you everything you needed to know about the person he was.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at the Rogers Funeral Home, 380 Cambridge Street in Cambridge from 12:00 to 4:00 pm, with a prayer service being held at 3:30 pm in the funeral home.
