John Quinn of Cambridge, Massachusetts passed away on Sunday, February 1st, 2026, at the age of 64, surrounded by his loving daughter, grandchildren, nephew and niece.
He was born June 2, 1961, to the late James and Eleanor Quinn, and was raised in Cambridge where he lived his entire life.
John worked for the City of Cambridge his whole life in various capacities including Youth Enrichment Services, Cambridge City Hospital, and finished his career as an Assessor in the City Hall when he retired in June of 2024.
He is survived by his daughter Jennifer Quinn, grandchildren Chris and Olivia, two brothers Kenneth Quinn of Falmouth, MA and James Quinn of Cambridge, MA.
John was predeceased by his brothers Bobby Quinn and Ricky Quinn, and sisters Christine Quinn, Noreen Van Stry, and Suzanne Quinn.
He cared for and was beloved by his many nieces and nephews, Rich, Ashley, Erik, Kevin, Katie, Amanda, Stephanie, and Scotty.
There will be a visitation at the Rogers Funeral Home, 380 Cambridge Street in Cambridge, on Thursday, February 5, 2026, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Francis Church, 325 Cambridge Street in Cambridge on Friday, February 6, 2026, at 10:00 am.
Those wishing to gather at the funeral home in Cambridge prior to going to church are asked to please arrive between 8:45 and 9:15 am.
Internment will be private.
