Bairos of Tewksbury, Luis de Chaves, formerly of Cambridge on October 14th. Loving husband of Jeanette (Hutchins) Bairos. Beloved father of Diane Abreau, Thomas Bairos, Thelma Caswell, and the late Mark Bairos. Cherished grandfather of Kyle and Chad Abreau, Amalia and Catia Caswell. Adored brother of Eliza Tavares, Helena Freitas, Joao Paulo, Antonio and Serafim Bairos and the late Maria Soares, Jose and Joao Bairos. Also survived by many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, loving friends and his Golden Retriever Buddy. Funeral was from The Rogers Funeral Home, 380 Cambridge St., Cambridge, Saturday October 18th, 2008 at 8:00 AM , followed by a funeral mass in St. Anthony's Church , Cambridge at 9:00 AM. Visiting Hours for Luis were held on Friday October 17th, 2008 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. All friends and relatives were welcome to attend. Interment was in The Cambridge Cemetery, Cambridge.
Luis was a member of the Imperio Marience Club of Saugus, Past member of the Santo Christo Club of Cambridge, former member and soccer player of the Madeira Club of Cambridge. Luis was a longtime employee of The Rogers Funeral Home.
