Michael A. Carbone, of Watertown, formerly of Somerville, passed away on August 27, 2026, surrounded by his loving family at the age of 77.
Devoted husband of Jean C. Carbone (Preston).
Loving father of Tracie Cosco and her husband Frank, and Michael M. Carbone and his wife Kerri.
Grandfather of Amanda Cosco, Dante Cosco, and Lucy Carbone.
Beloved brother of Genevieve Scanlon, Stephanie Bettencourt and her husband John, Peter Carbone and his wife Mary, and the late David P. Carbone Jr., Barbara Mercado, and Thomas Carbone.
Dear son of the late Beatrice (Shimkus) and David P. Carbone Sr.
Also survived by nieces, nephews, and many other loving relatives and friends.
A memorial mass will be held at St. Mary’s Church, 135 Norfolk Street in Cambridge on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at 10:00 am.
Burial will follow at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.
