Maria De Lourdes Mendonca (Mendonca) of Woburn, formerly of Somerville, passed away on July 10, 2026, at the age of 93.
Devoted wife of the late Francisco V. Mendonca.
Loving mother of Steve V. Mendonca and David V. Mendonca.
Cherished grandmother of Sydney Mendonca.
Dear stepmother of Maria A. Mendonca, Izidro Mendonca, Frank Mendonca, Idalina Mendonca, and the late Maria Idalina Carvalho, and Salvador Mendonca.
Maria is survived by her brothers Anterio Mendonca, and Jose Mendonca, her many beloved step-grandchildren, step great-great children, nieces, nephews, and many other loving extended family members and friends.
Visiting hours at the Rogers Funeral Home, 380 Cambridge Street in Cambridge on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:30 am.
Funeral mass to follow at St. Anthony’s Church, 400 Cardinal Medeiros Avenue in Cambridge at 11:00 am.
Interment will be at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
