Leo Knight

In Loving Memory of

Leo J. Knight

January 29, 1959 – May 22, 2026

Leo J. Knight, age 67, passed away on May 22, 2026. Born on January 29, 1959, in North Carolina, Leo was the beloved son of the late Joyce T. Knight, who passed away in September 2024, and the late Leroy J. Knight, Sr., who passed away in February 2020.

One of nine siblings and a twin, Leo was raised in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where he spent much of his life. He lived life on his own terms, living in various places over the years while remaining true to his unique spirit and unforgettable personality.

Leo will be remembered for his loving and caring heart, fearless nature, and adventurous spirit. A daredevil at heart, he never shied away from a challenge and approached life with confidence and determination. He was known for his sense of humor and playful nature, often teasing those he loved most as a way of showing affection. Whether sharing stories, making others laugh, or simply enjoying the company of family and friends, Leo left a lasting impression on everyone he met. Leo’s individuality, warmth, and ability to bring smiles to those around him will be deeply missed.

Leo is survived by his siblings: Leroy, Janice, Larry, David, Melvin, Curtis, Jamie, and Melissa.

He also leaves behind 11 beloved nieces and nephews, 20 great-nieces and great-nephews, and many other extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his great-niece, Natya.

Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Rogers Funeral Home, 380 Cambridge Street, Cambridge, MA 02138.

A funeral service celebrating Leo’s life, followed by a graveside burial, will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026, in North Carolina.

Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we find comfort in the memories Leo leaves behind—the laughter he shared, the love he gave, and the unique way he lived his life. May he rest in eternal peace.
