Armando E. Vieira of Cambridge passed away on May 18, 2026, surrounded by his loving family at the age of 79.
Devoted husband of Maria Adelina Vieira (Andrade).
Loving father of Lee Vieira, Paula Cristina Vieira, and the late Michael Vieira.
Beloved brother of Fatima Coimbra, and the late Natalia DaSilva, Georgina Andrade, Antonio Vieira, and Maria Moniz.
Cherished grandfather of Imani Michael Vieira, Aneuris G. Melo II, Zachary A. Melo, Elias E. Melo, and Xavier N. Melo.
Armando was an avid soccer fan, especially when it came to his favorite team Sporting, and will be greatly missed by his grand dog Logan.
Visiting hours at the Rogers Funeral Home, 380 Cambridge Street, in Cambridge on Thursday, May 21, 2026, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm.
Funeral mass at St. Anthony’s Church, 400 Cardinal Medeiros Ave., in Cambridge on Friday, May 22, 2026, at 10:00 am.
Interment will follow at the Cambridge Cemetery.
Those wishing to travel in procession are asked to please meet at the funeral home in Cambridge on Friday morning at 9:00 am.
