Ralph J. SaccociaRalph Saccocia, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully at the age of 89 on Tuesday, April 14th after a brief illness. Born in Portland, Maine, Ralph made his home in Cambridge, building a life in which he served proudly in the National Guard, and worked for 23 years at Youville Hospital.

Ralph was deeply proud of his children and grandchildren — the kind of pride that didn't always need words but was felt every time stories were shared or pictures were shown. Papa, as he was known, loved nothing more than watching his family grow and thrive, and his happiest times were when surrounded by them.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Maria, whose loving care and companionship were the foundation of his life. He also leaves behind his daughter Kim and her husband Lundy, his son Jeff and his wife Shannon, and his cherished grandchildren - Rachel, Karly, Drew, and Julia.

He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who loved him.

Visitation at the Rogers Funeral Home, 380 Cambridge Street in Cambridge, on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
