Pereira, Manuel Leite of Somerville, January 31, 2026, passed away at the age of 95.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of nearly 60 years, Germana C. Pereira (Faria), and is survived by his wife, Maria J. Salgado Pereira, whom he married later in life.
Loving father of Joseph Pereira and his wife Rosani, Jorge Pereira and his wife Kathleen, Freddy Pereira and his wife Maria, Teresa DeVirgilio and her husband Richard, Paul Pereira and his wife Edvani, the late Natalia and Joao Luis Pereira.
Also survived by many cherished grandchildren, great-grandchilren, 1 brother, nieces, nephews, 5 stepsons and their families, as well as other loving relatives and friends.
He is now at rest in the arms of his Lord & Savior Jesus Christ.
Visitation at the Rogers Funeral Home, 380 Cambridge Street, in Cambridge on Friday, February 6, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.
A funeral service will be held at the Chapel in Woodlawn Cemetery on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 10:00 am. Those wishing to travel in procession to the cemetery are asked to please meet at the funeral home in Cambridge on Saturday morning at 8:30 am.
Internment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
