Robert Owen Harvey Jr., of Everett, formerly of Cambridge, passed away on December 22, 2025, at the age of 78.
He was the devoted father of Frank R. Festa and his wife, Sydney, and the beloved brother of Frederick Harvey, Annemarie Harvey, Richard Allen Harvey, and Patricia Harvey-Paris.
Robert will be greatly missed by his loving nieces and nephews: Rachael, Bonnie, Brooke, Taylor, Paige, Robert, Paris, Kohle, Kenney, Gregg, and Derek. He is also survived by his great-nieces and great-nephews, as well as many dear friends.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at Rogers Funeral Home, located at 380 Cambridge Street, Cambridge, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. A prayer service will follow at 11:30 a.m., prior to proceeding to Cambridge Cemetery for interment.
Robert proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged. Following his military service, he continued his commitment to public service as a Cambridge police officer, serving the community with dedication before later leaving the department to pursue a different path.
Robert was also a proud member of the Teamsters Union for many years.
