Francis L. MouloFrancis L. “Mucca” Muolo, of Cambridge, passed away on November 5, 2025, surrounded by his loving family at the age of 78.

He was the devoted husband of 55 years to Connie (Trifone) Muolo, loving father to his son Brian and daughter Christina Muolo, the beloved brother of Joanne Muolo-Driscoll and her husband Walter, dear brother-in-law of Annmaria and Alice and the late Michael (Trifty) Trifone.  He is also survived by his loving cousins, friends and his adored pets Pastina, grand kitty KC and lil pup Princess.

Frank was East Cambridge through and through, having been born, raised and living there all his life. He grew up working in “Muolo’s Market” on the corner of Jefferson and Warren Streets with his family. Growing up he loved to play basketball, baseball and street hockey. He enjoyed watching football and was also a Little League and Babe Ruth baseball coach for many years in East Cambridge. He was very active in his community, belonging to numerous committees throughout the years and was an active member and officer of the East Cambridge Scholarship Committee. He volunteered working Bingo for numerous churches and was Santa Claus at parish bazaars. He was also a Eucharist Minister and would bring communion to seniors who couldn’t make it to mass.

Frank had a strong work ethic, and he retired from a biotech company after 60 years of service.  After he “retired,” he went on to work as a City of Cambridge school crossing guard and volunteered with the Read to a Child program for Cambridge public schools.

He loved listening to Frank Sinatra and 50s music and watching his favorite shows from the 1950s. He was the kindest, gentlest man, always willing to help in any way he could.

He will be forever missed and loved…he did it “his way”
