Edward ConleyEdward "Eddie" Conley passed away peacefully in Malden, MA surrounded by his loving family on September 21st, 2025, after a long courageous battle with esophageal cancer at just 58 years old.

Eddie was born on January 25, 1967, in Somerville, MA. That was also the city he was raised in and proud to call his home. Eddie was a friend to everyone, known for his loud laugh and enormous personality - the only thing bigger than that was his heart.

Eddie seemed to live a million different lifetimes in these 58 years, and he relished every moment here.
He studied culinary arts at Somerville High School where he found his calling, he was an incredible cook. That was what he did for a profession throughout his life, and as a passion for the ones he loved. The last job Eddie held was at Leslie College, where he was adored by his coworkers who became friends.

Eddie was lucky enough to meet the love of his life, Jane and create a beautiful family...those were his favorite days. Being a father didn't always come easy for him, but he loved his children with all of his heart - and without a doubt they loved him. Though the last couple of years were a struggle for Eddie, in a sense these were the best years for him. Despite all hardship he faced, Eddie showed up day after day for himself and the ones he loved - we all got the best version of Eddie. And through all of the pain, there was one constant with him....laughter. Eddie had the ability to light up a room with his sense of humor, and that is what he left all he loved with..and what a wonderful legacy to leave behind.

Eddie was predeceased by his parents Edward "Ed" Conley and Arlene Conley, his love Rebecca "Jane" Conley, and his sister Susan Sullivan. He is survived by his beloved children, twin grandchildren, siblings, nieces and nephews, and countless friends who loved him deeply. To know Eddie was to love him...and our family could not have loved him more.

At Eddie's request, there will be no services, there will be a private Celebration of Life held to honor him and the impact he had on the ones who loved him.
