Desiree Marie Nowell, of Woburn, passed away on October 1, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family at the age of 44.
She was the devoted mother of Samuel Martini and Corrine Greene.
Dear wife to Duke Greene.
Cherished daughter of Lorna (Rose) Reynolds and the late Samuel Nowell.
Loving sister of Ashley T. Nowell, Nicholas Reynolds and his wife Tiana Reynolds.
Caring daughter in law of Paul and Lynne Greene.
Beloved sister in law of Doug Greene, Jackie & Danny Walmourne, and Michelle Greene.
Adored aunt of Evelyn, Zoe and Victoria Reynolds, Aaron & Emma Morales, Lilly & Liam Walbourne.
Desiree was also survived by many loving cousins, other relatives and friends.
Desiree was raised in Lexington. She was a beloved wife, mother, aunt, community volunteer and friend who loved to entertain. She was creative and artistic, made beautiful jewelry. Desiree loved life to the fullest, she was so thoughtful, caring and always put everyone above herself. Desiree had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. She will be in our hearts forever.
There will be a private burial ceremony at Mount Auburn Cemetery on Tuesday October 15th 2024.
