Please accept our deepest sympathies. Susanne was a wonderful person and tremendous friend.
She would reach out and help those in need. One time she and your dad noticed a neighbor on the street behind their house needed assistance, they reached out to her to do errands for her. And they did it without any fanfare.
With Johnny behind the wheel, there was no stopping their ability to lend a hand, because they truly cared.
I was very fortunate when she was the first volunteer to show up the headquarters to kick off my first campaign in 1993. There was no stopping us then - not only were we successful but we had fun doing it. She greeted each volunteer or constitute with care and compassion. She was apart of every campaign after that.
She was one of the sweetest people - never understood why she needed six sugars in her coffee.
She took the care and compassion with her to Santa Maria - where she became the Mayor of the place. She had a very big heart.
Susanne, will always have a very special place in our hearts.
You are in our thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely,
Michael, Denise, Michael, and Paul
