Branco, Maria Conceicao “Connie” (Moniz), of Cambridge, passed away on September 9, 2024, surrounded by her loving family at the age of 86.
Devoted wife of the late Luis Miguel Branco.
Loving mother of Rui Branco, Luis Branco and his wife Linda, Filomena Branco, Ricardo Branco, Paulo Branco, Diane Meireles and her husband Nuno.
Beloved sister of Lilia Viveiros, Zenaide Mota, Clara Carreiro, Fatima Torres, Mariana Cabral, Vidalia Sousa, Isaura Carreiro, and the late Estrela Oliveira.
Also survived by her cherished 10 grandchildren, adored 4 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.
Visiting hours at the Rogers Funeral Home, 380 Cambridge Street in Cambridge on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, from 9:00 to 10:30 am.
Funeral mass at St. Antony’s Church, 400 Cardinal Medeiros Avenue in Cambridge at 11:00 am.
Interment will be at the Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge.
Maria was a member of the Holy Rosary Sodality, Carismatica Group, Cursilio Group and the Legion of Mary, all at St. Anthony’s Church in Cambridge.
