John Fiumara, of Tewksbury, passed away on the evening of November 5, 2022, with his loving wife and daughter by his side.
He was a devoted husband of Paula R. Fiumara (Leone) and loving father of Felicia Fiumara.
He is survived by his sisters Olivia Galgano, and Beverly Merritt. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Margaret Fiumara and his brother Joseph Fiumara.
John was a proud U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran and would often be seen in his Vietnam Veteran hat. He was recognized by the army for his heroic service by being awarded a Bronze Star Medal.
He wore many career hats throughout his life – but in his heart he was always a mechanic. Before falling ill his favorite activity was to cook – often making recipes that were inspired by his grandmother.
A celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2022, at the Rogers Funeral Home, 380 Cambridge Street, in Cambridge from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
