Simoes, Cesar Augusto, of Cambridge, March 31, 2022, at age 76.

Husband of Lucia Simoes (Machado). Loving father of Isabel S. Tourkantonis and her husband Arthur Tourkantonis Jr.  Cherished grandfather of Maya Olivia Tourkantonis and Cole Alexander Tourkantonis

Beloved brother of Helena Travassos and her husband Raul, Jose Almeida and his wife Maria Augusta, and the late Aquilino Almeida who is survived by his wife Maria, Alfredo Simoes who is survived by his wife Vera, and Luis Almeida who is survived by his wife Maria Helena. Cherished son of the late Isabel Melo (Cabral) and Jose Simoes Almeida. Also survived by nieces, nephews, who adored him, and other loving relatives and friends. 

Visiting hours at the Rogers Funeral Home, 380 Cambridge Street, Cambridge on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, from 9:00 am to 10:30 am 

Funeral mass to follow at St. Anthony’s Church, 400 Cardinal Medeiros Avenue, Cambridge at 11:00 am.

Interment will be at Cambridge Cemetery in Cambridge.

Cesar served in the Portuguese Military in Mozambique, Africa. He Immigrated from Portugal to the United States in 1971 and made Cambridge his home. He was a dedicated and hard worker and was very proud when he became a U.S. Citizen. Cesar had a heart of gold and generously donated to many charities while often putting his own needs aside.

I'm very sorry to everyone in your family especial your sister Helena Travassos my you rest in peace; I remember you very well during the time we all lived in Bristol St.
May God give your sister and all the family peace that you are resting in the house of God.
