Patricia P. Morris (Jarvis) of Cambridge, January 08, 2022, at age 96.

Patricia was born on March 17, 1925 in Weymouth, Nova Scotia, Canada to Malcolm and Gertrude Jarvis.  At the age of three years old Patricia and her family relocated to the United States and settled on Brookline Street in Cambridge, Massachusetts.  As a child Patricia attended Blessed Sacrament Catholic School.  In later years she was to meet and marry Vernon G. Morris, Sr., a union that lasted fifty plus years before being widowed in 1998.  From this union came five children, Leroy, Vernon Jr, Richard, Pamela and Gertrude.

Patricia was a well-known member of the Cambridge Community.  She worked at local factories such as Durran’s and Necco’s and for charitable agencies such as the Cambridge YWCA.  After many enjoyable years of employment with St. Vincent DePaul’s she retired.

Patricia had a passion for capturing special family events with her video camera.  She also enjoyed paint by number, puzzles and crocheting blankets for family members.  She loved her knick-knacks and collecting special porcelain dolls.  Patricia continued to spend time with family and friends in the community that she loved so much.

Devoted wife of the late Vernon G. Morris, Sr.  Loving mother of Richard Morris and his wife Karen, Pamela N. Beckett and her husband Paul, Gertrude A. Morris Physic and her husband George, the late Leroy Morris and Vernon G. Morris, Jr.  Cherished grandmother of: Tasha, Tamyko, Laura, Kim Jr, Brent, April, Rateef, and the late Kyle Sparks and Erik Weadbrock. Adored Great-Grandmother of: A host of great grandchildren as well as cousins, nieces, and nephews. Beloved sister of Arthur (Buzzy) Jarvis and the late Francis, Daisy and Eugene Jarvis.
