Pinto, Francisco of Somerville, MA at age 84, passed away peacefully on October 30th at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Irene Santos Pinto, his loving children Helena McFarland and her husband Timothy of Somerville, Paul Pinto and his husband John Casey of Salem, MA, his cherished grandchildren Amanda McFarland of Boston and Cebria McFarland of Somerville, and his beloved sister Natalia Pinto Lorenço and her four children of Aldeia Viçosa, Portugal. He is also survived by his large extended family in both Portugal and the United States.
Francisco was born in Aldeia Viçosa, Portugal to Antonio and Maria de Jesus Felipe Pinto on January 1, 1937. He married Irene Santos on September 3, 1961, in Aldeia Viçosa, Portugal. He emigrated to the United States via Germany in 1972, where he worked as a machine operator for Wonder Bread and Hostess for 27 years.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at the St. Anthony’s Church, 400 Cardinal Medeiros Avenue in Cambridge at 11:00 am.
