Devoted husband of the late Lucy A. Gomes (Paglierani). Loving father of James Gomes, and the late Gerald G. Gomes Jr. who is survived by his wife Cheryl Gomes. Cherished grandfather of Benjamin, Jonathan and Jennifer Gomes. Beloved brother-in-law of Rosemarie Olsen, and the late John Paglierani and Jeanette Bonina. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.
Funeral from the Rogers Funeral Home, 380 Cambridge St., in Cambridge on Thursday, October 21, 2021, at 9:00 am.
Funeral mass at Sacred Heart Church, 49 Sixth St., in Cambridge at 10:00 am.
Visiting hours at the funeral home in Cambridge on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm.
Interment will be at the Cambridge Cemetery.
Mr. Gomes is a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran.
