Devoted Husband of Adelina (Soares) Medeiros. Loving father of Louis Medeiros and his wife Holly, Grasiela “Grace” DaCosta and her husband Rui, Leslie Montanez and her husband Benny. Cherished grandfather of Marc DaCosta, Tyler DaCosta and Cristian Montanez. Beloved son of the late Nicolina Pacheco Almas and Jorge Medeiros Calhau. Adored brother of Antonio Medeiros, Mario Medeiros, Eduardo Calhau, and the late Rosa Melo, Jose Medeiros, Gilberto Calhau and Victor Calhau. Also survived by nieces, nephews and many other loving relatives and friends.
Visiting hours at the Rogers Funeral Home, 380 Cambridge Street in Cambridge on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Due to Covid-19 and Massachusetts Tracing Guidelines, the funeral home is limited to 20 people inside the funeral home. A mask must be worn, over both the nose and mouth, at all times, and social distancing guidelines must be observed.
The funeral home and the family are asking those who plan to attend to please come in, pay your condolences and then exit to make it possible for others to do the same.
Funeral Mass at St. Anthony’s Church, 400 Cardinal Medeiros Avenue, in Cambridge at 9:00 am on Wednesday, February 17, 2021.
Everyone attending church must be registered. You may register at the funeral home on Tuesday night during the visitation.

No one is permitted to enter the church until the funeral home personnel arrive.
Luis was a longtime bartender at many of the local sporting clubs, a former member of the Benfica Sports Club of Cambridge, and a longtime employee of Youville Hospital and Spaulding Rehab in Cambridge.
Interment will be at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
