Louis Ernst Moliere was born on October 15, 1933 in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti. He was the son of Laure (Perrin) and Vergniaud Moliere.
He worked in Haiti as a plumber and also for immigration before coming to the United States in 1984. In 1986 he met and married Levon Kelly. Ernst worked for many years at the Vernon Hall Nursing Home in Cambridge as a house keeper. After retiring from the nursing home, he went to work at Star Market where he worked up until April of 2018 when he became ill. Ernst had a strong work ethic, enjoyed taking rides in his car, loved shopping and music.
He will be remembered for his funny jokes and loud laugh.
Ernst will be greatly missed by his cherished wife Levon (Kelly) Moliere, loving children Irma E. Beaufils, Francoise Moliere, Rudolph Moliere, Miriam Moliere and Bissonne Moliere, step-daughter Sandra Kelly, beloved brother Weber Moliere, cherished niece Elsie Thornton, as well as many grandchildren, step-grandchildren, step great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many other loving relatives and friends.
Visiting hours at the Rogers Funeral Home, 380 Cambridge St., Cambridge on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
A funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 11:00 am.
Burial will at the Oaklawn Cemetery, 427 Cummins Highway, in Roslindale.
