Loving father of Charlene McNamara and her husband James, Edward Medeiros and his wife Kellie, and Lisa Parziale. Cherished grandfather of David Parziale and his wife Jessica, Andreana, Alissa and Anthony Parziale, Michael, Matthew and Julia Medeiros and Bethany McNamara. Beloved brother of Eduarda Vicente and her husband Joe, Cidalia Vokes and her husband Don and the late Maria Barros. Beloved brother in law of James Braga. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends. Funeral from the Rogers Funeral Home, 380 Cambridge St., Cambridge, Friday at 8 am. Funeral Mass at St. Anthony’s Church in Cambridge at 9 am. Visiting hours Thursday 4 to 8 pm. Interment at Cambridge Cemetery. Charlie was born in Portugal and came to America in 1953. He worked for Boston Woven Hose as a mill worker and M.I.T. as a custodian. Charlie worked many years as a painter and taught his skills to his son and grandsons.
