Mr. Edgardo "Eddie" Gafanhao

Gafanhao, Edgardo “Eddie” of Quincy, March 29^th. Devoted husband of Alice (Santos) Gafanhao. Loving father of Edgardo S. Gafanhao and his wife Ruth, Melissa Gafanhao and her fiancé Jason Facey. Cherished grandfather of  Madison, Olivia and Nathan Gafanhao, Jalysa and Jason “ J.J” Facey Jr. Beloved brother of Carlos Gafanhao and Elisete Santos. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends. Funeral from the Rogers Funeral Home, 380 Cambridge St., Cambridge Wednesday at 8 am. Funeral Mass at St. Anthony’s Church in Cambridge at 9 am. Visiting hours Tuesday 4 to 8 pm. Eddie was a dedicated employee of Allegheny Flooring for over 42 years as well as a member of NEFCA and New England Carpenters Union Local 2168. He was also a member of Ateneu Luso Americano of Fall River and the Portuguese National Club of Stoughton. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to Boston Children’s Hospital, 300 Longwood Ave., Boston, MA 02115. Interment at Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree.
