Maria C. Furtado

Furtado, Maria C. (Amaro) of Somerville, January 29^th, 2013.  Devoted wife of the late Jose Costa Machado.  Loving mother of Jose Machado and his wife Connie, Fatima Calisto and her late husband Mario, Norberto Machado and his wife Itelvina, Maria Lemos and her husband Francisco, Odilia Flores and her husband Tomas, Mario Machado and his wife Dina.  Cherished grandmother of 16 grand children and 7 great- grandchildren.  Also survived by her sister Odilia Amaro of Portugal, nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.  Funeral from the Rogers Funeral Home, 380 Cambridge St., Cambridge Friday at 8 am.  Funeral Mass at St. Anthony’s Church in Cambridge at 9 am.  Visiting hours Thursday 4 to 8 pm.  Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
