Mrs. Nicolina Almas Calhau

Calhau, Nicolina (Almas) of Somerville, Sept. 14^th, formerly of Sao Miguel, Acores.  Devoted wife of the late Jorge Calhau.  Loving mother of Antonio and his wife Sara, Luis and his wife Adelina, Mario and his wife Margarida, Jose and his wife Margaret, Gilbert and his wife Lori, Eduardo and his wife Diane,  Victor Calhau and the late Maria Rose Melo.  Also survived by her sister Maria de Jesus Mendonca,  24 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild,  nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.  Funeral from the Rogers Funeral Home, 380 Cambridge St., Cambridge Tuesday at 8 am.  Funeral Mass at St. Anthony’s Church, Cambridge at 9 am.  Visiting Hours Monday 5 to 9 pm.  Interment will be at Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge.
