William Earle Bentubo “Billy” of Revere, formerly of Cambridge, passed away on September 6, 2026, at the age of 86.
Billy was the son of the late William and Mary “Gloria” Bentubo. Father to Eden and his late son, Eric. He was also a grandfather of two and great-grandfather of two.
He was the brother of Ronald Bentubo, Robert Bentubo, Kenneth Bentubo, Judith Medeiros, Marilyn Miller, Richard Bentubo, Diane Dulychender, David Bentubo, Leonard Bentubo, Paul Bentubo, and the late John Bentubo and Linda Amaral.
Billy had an appreciation for the finer pleasures in life. He loved being near the sea and especially enjoyed boating and scalloping. He was an avid reader, had a lifelong interest in cars, and appreciated a good glass of wine. He found happiness in the things that brought him both adventure and quiet enjoyment. The sea always held a special place in his heart.
Billy is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will remember him fondly.
