David F. Silvio, age 62, of Cambridge, MA, passed away on June 11th, 2026.
David was born on August 22, 1963, at Cambridge Hospital to late Frank D. Silvio Jr. (father) and Linda F. Silvio (mother). He spent much of his life in the Belmont area, where he later settled and resided in Plymouth. He was known for his strong work ethic, compassion, and determination.
He started his life off playing professional hockey, where then later became a licensed electrician. Throughout his life, he enjoyed spending time with his wife and two daughters, watching UFC, working on some sort of hands-on project, and listening to rock & roll music. Those who knew him, especially his daughters, will remember him for how good of a father he really was. He has left his girls with memorable lessons and life advice.

Above all else, David loved his entire family. He was a devoted son, brother, uncle, husband, and father, whose love and support touched the lives of everyone around him.
He is survived by his wife, Claudia F. Silvio, and his daughters, Sarah L. Silvio and Sophia F. Silvio.
He was preceded in death by his father, Frank D. Silvio Jr. and his beloved brothers; SGT Frederick J. Silvio, Douglas M. Silvio, and Frank D. Silvio 3rd.
A viewing will be held on June 26, 2026, from 9:00 - 10:30 am at the Rogers Funeral Home, 380 Cambridge Street in Cambridge.
A funeral mass will be held on June 26, 2026, and will commence at 11:00 am at St. Joseph’s Parish, 130 Common Street, Belmont, MA 02478, followed by the burial at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, 999 Belmont Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in the memories we shared with David. His love, strength, and legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
