Evelina (Cardoso) Jacome of Somerville, passed away on March 12, 2026, at the age of 78, surrounded by her loving family.
Devoted wife of the late Afonso Jacome.
Loving mother of Anna Branco and her husband William, Diane Fabrizio and her partner Mike Chandler and Michelle Jacome and her partner Vincent Doyle.
Cherished grandmother to Taylor, Nicholas, and Meghan Branco and John and Samantha Fabrizio.
Beloved sister of Jose Cardoso and his wife Teresa and the late Joao Cardoso.
Also survived by nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.

Evelina retired from Youville Hospital in Cambridge after many years of working there in order to care for her grandchildren and other children of relatives and friends.
