Antonio J. Resendes (70) of Somerville, passed away peacefully on March 10th, 2026, surrounded by his family.
Devoted husband of Maria Margarida (Bairos) Resendes.
Loving father of Nuno and his wife Christine, Helder and his with Nancy, and Brian and his wife Susie.
Beloved grandfather of Brianna and her husband Aidan, Dominic, Dante, Joseph , Olivia, Logan and Penelope.
He was the son of Antonio Joaquim Resendes and Ines Andrade. Dear stepson of Isabel da Conceiçao Sousa.
Brother of Ana Freitas, Maria Andrade, Maria J. Reis, Fatima Moura, Manuel Resendes and the late Jose Resendes.
Antonio was a long-time employee of Olympic Adhesives, of Norwood, where he gave 39 loyal years of service.

Visiting hours at the Rogers Funeral Home, 380 Cambridge Street in Cambridge on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm.
Funeral mass at St. Anthony’s Church, 400 Cardinal Medeiros Avenue in Cambridge on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at 10:00 am.
Entombment will follow at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.
Those wishing to travel in procession are asked to please meet at the funeral home on Wednesday morning at 9:00 am.
