Donna M. (Toppi) Martins, age 54, a resident of Somerville, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Donna was born on January 25, 1971, and was the youngest of four children.
Beloved wife of Rui (Roy) Martins.
Cherished daughter of Bruno and the late Antoinette (Cornelio) Toppi.
Loving sister of Joanne Toppi; Mark Toppi and his fiancé Claudia Gillis; and Diana (Toppi) Hawkins and her husband David.
Adored aunt of Gianna and Rachel Toppi.
Donna was full of life – always smiling and singing – she brought so much joy (and laughter) to so many. Her big heart was filled with love for her husband, her cats and her “boyfriend” Nuno Bettencourt of Extreme.
Donna will be forever loved and missed by her husband and family.
A celebration of her life will be held at the Rogers Funeral Home, 380 Cambridge Street in Cambridge on Thursday, February 13, 2025, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
A memorial mass will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025, at the St. Joseph’s Church, 173 Albion Street in Wakefield, MA at 10:00 am.
