Camelo, Joao M., of Malden passed away on February 25, 2024, surrounded by his loving family at the age 67.
Devoted husband of Maria Elisa (Pereira) Camelo.
Loving father of John Camelo and Alex Camelo.
Beloved brother of Fernanda Lessa, Maria Isabel Rodrigues, and the late Fatima Medeiros.
Also survived by nieces, nephews, and many other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation at the Rogers Funeral Home, 380 Cambridge Street in Cambridge on Friday, March 1, 2024, from 9:00 to 10:30 am.
Funeral mass to follow at St. Anthony’s Church, 400 Cardinal Medeiros Avenue in Cambridge at 11:00 am.
Interment will be at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
Joao worked for many years doing auto body work. He worked at Hanson and Tilton in Arlington, Webster Auto Body in Cambridge, and D & M Auto in Somerville. The only thing he loved more than classic and muscle cars, was the time he spent with family, friends and a cold beer.
