Joao Vieira of Stoughton, passed away on January 18, 2023, at age 72.
He was the devoted and cherished husband of Maria Eduarda Vieira (de Melo), loving godfather of Esmeralda Paiva, Paulo Sousa, Esmeralda Baptista, Alexander Sousa, Paul Alexander, and Andera Oliveira.
Joao is survived by his loving sister Lourdes Eniques and Brother Antonio Vieira, both in Portugal. He was pre-deceased by his siblings Rosario Vieira and Estrela Vieira.
Also survived by many beloved nieces, nephews, as well as many members and friends.
A funeral mass and celebration of his life will be held at St. Anthony’s Church, 400 Cardinal Medeiros Avenue in Cambridge, Massachusetts on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at 11:00 am.
