Althea M Carreiro (Gilbert) of Barrington, NH formerly of Cambridge, MA, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2023, at the age of 80.
She was the devoted wife of 49 years to the late Edgar M Carreiro.
Loving Mother of Edward Carreiro and his wife Lyndy, Loreli (Lori) Carvalho and her husband Manuel, and the late Deborah Wixon (Carreiro), James Carreiro, and Linda Carreiro.
Cherished Grandmother of Misquiannah Wixon-Cagnina and her husband Shawn, Lyndy Quinn, Sebastian Carvalho, Gabriel Carvalho and Aaron Carvalho. Great Grandmother of Keihtean and Nechanaup Cagnina.
Adored Sister of Hickory Gilbert and his wife Liduvina, Roy Gilbert and his wife Emily, Kevin Gilbert, and the late Mark Gilbert and his wife Rachel.
Also survived by many loving family members, friends, and her cherished furry companions, Mia and Pixie.
Burial will be private. A Celebration of her Life is being planned for a later date.
