Vicente, Jose Monteiro, of Cambridge, December 25th, 2016 at age 85. Devoted husband of the late Maria Chaves Vicente (Andrade). Loving father of Jose Antonio Vicente and his late wife Barbara, Francisco Vicente and his wife Maria Yvonne, Victor Vicente and his wife Margaret. Beloved brother Maria Vicente and the late Joao Vicente. Also survived by 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends. Funeral from the Rogers Funeral Home, 380 Cambridge St., Cambridge, Thursday, December 29th, 2016 at 8:00 am. Funeral Mass at St. Anthony’s Church in Cambridge at 9:00 am. Visiting hours at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 28th, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. Mr. Vicente served proudly in the Portuguese Army, and was a welder in Portugal and then with General Dynamics ship yard in Quincy.
